We are committed to supporting the protection of pet health and prevention of cruelty to animals by raising funds and assisting the MSPCA, a non-profit organization that does not receive any state or federal funding. The MSPCA’s mission is to protect animals, relieve their suffering, advance their health and welfare, prevent cruelty, and work for a just and compassionate society.
Vioclean Fights Against Cruelty Toward Animals Through Our Support of the MSPCA
According to leading reports, in 2009 there were more than 140,000 cases of pets exposed to toxic substances, many of which included everyday household products. When inhaled by pets, these substances can cause serious gastrointestinal problems and respiratory irritation and damage. Prevention, and using non-toxic products, is paramount to avoiding exposure. However, if you suspect your pet has ingested something toxic, contact your emergency veterinarian or call the Angell Animal Poison Control Hotline at 1-877-2ANGELL. The hotline is operated 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The MSPCA at Nevins Farm cares for more than 6,000 homeless animals annually. The farm, in Methuen, Massachusetts, is a 55-acre animal care complex that provides vital animal care services including shelter and adoption services for both farm and companion animals, including a full-service equine program with rehabilitation, adoption, and ambulatory services. Nevins Farm also offers community outreach and education programs, provides resources for pet owners, and supports humane law enforcement services that uphold animal protection laws and provide care to animal victims of abuse and neglect.
