I’ll cut straight to the chase!
1- Tea Tree Oil
2 teaspoons tea tree oil
2 cups water
Combine in a spray bottle, shake to blend, and spray on problem areas. Do not rinse. Makes about 2 cups, lasts indefinitely.
2- Grapefruit Seed Extract
The advantage of using grapefruit seed extract instead of tea tree oil for killing mold is that it is odorless.
20 drops grapefruit seed extract
2 cups water
Combine in a spray bottle, shake to blend, and spray on problem areas. Do not rinse. Makes about 2 cups, lasts indefinitely.
3- Vinegar Spray
Straight vinegar reportedly kills 82 percent of mold.
Pour some white distilled vinegar straight into a spray bottle, spray on the moldy area
let set without rinsing if you can put up with the smell.
It will dissipate in a few hours.
If you don’t like the smell of vinegar, you can add essential oils for a more mellow scent.
4- Backing Soda
Make a mixture of half baking soda and half water to form a paste
Apply the paste and simply let it dry
Then come back to the area and with a little elbow grease, scrub with a tooth brush
Wipe away debris
If any suspicion that there is a serious mold issue involved it is best to always contact your local mold remediation company, Or if you notice mold is continuously returning.
