and then for appearance! Many of the products we use are “green seal certified”. Green Seal is an independent,
non-profit organization that promotes the manufacture, purchase and use of environmentally responsible products
and services.

Our cleaning process
We use the carpet cleaning process called hot water extraction. It is the process recommended by major
carpet manufacturers because of its effectiveness and gentleness on the carpet.
What’s Included?
Step 1: Pre-Inspection
We will walk through your home with you to visually inspect the carpet. He will identify potential permanent stains
and give you an evaluation of expected results.
Step 2: Dry soil removal – Vacuuming
A very important process that many cleaners overlook is vacuuming with a high quality professional commercial
hepa filter vacuum cleaner. According to industry study, these soils represent 74% - 79% of the soils in the carpet.
These soils are not dissolved by water or solvent based products and must be removed by thorough dry
vacuuming before any cleaning process begins.
It is important to note that the smallest, invisible soil particles are the most dangerous! The smaller the particle,
the more deeply that it can penetrate the lungs. It is crucial that the vacuum being used remove particles as
small as one micron or smaller if possible. After removal, the system must filter well enough not to pollute
the air with contaminates just removed from the carpet.
Examples of insoluble soils:
• Sand • Human & Animal Hair • Carbon • Vegetable matter • Paper dust • Soot
Without proper vacuuming, these fine, particulate soils are not removed in subsequent cleaning and
contribute to premature fiber damage and poor indoor air quality!
Step 3: Furniture Moving
Our regular pricing includes moving sofas, chairs, tables and smaller items. Beds, dressers, and heavier pieces
are left in place.
Step 4: Pre- Spotting
Difficult spots are treated with special solutions to increase chances of removal.
Step 5: Pre-spray
A preconditioning agent is applied to break down traffic area soil and general spots for more thorough cleaning.
Step 6: Agitation
A professional carpet groomer is used to further agitate and loosen the soil.
Step 7: Soil Extraction and Rinse
Once the soil has been loosened, our state-of-the-art truck-mounted hot water extraction process will thoroughly
rinse the carpet pile. Pressure and heat are regulated so that carpet is not over-wet. We rinse with specially
treated water at temperatures ranging between 60-235 degrees depending on the fiber content and soiling condition.
This step also improves your air quality by removing the pollens, pollutants, and dust mites, etc. from the carpet.
Step 8: Grooming
Your carpet is groomed with a professional groomer so that the pile of your carpet is standing tall when we leave.
Post grooming helps the carpet pile dry faster and in the right position.
Step 9: Speed Dry
High velocity air movers are placed on the carpet immediately after cleaning to promote faster drying.
Step 10: Post Cleaning Inspection
We then walk you through your home to point out the cleaning results to make sure that you are completely
thrilled with the job.

Before Your Carpeting Is Cleaned...
• Please remove breakables and knick-knacks from tables and other pieces that will be moved by our crew.
If there is a large amount of small items such as boxes, magazines, shoes, etc., please remove these items
if you want the carpet cleaned in these areas.
• Arrange for pets & children to be away from the area that we are cleaning, and away from all equipment, hoses, etc.
After Your Carpeting Is Cleaned…
• Be careful walking from carpet to hard surfaces! Floors can be very slippery.
• Keep pets and children off of carpet for at least 3-5 hours.
• Leave blocks and tabs for 24 hours after carpet is cleaned.
